This one-day experiential course based in Tahoe National Forest teaches you the skills you’ll need to take kids out in the snow through the accessible and inexpensive activity of snowshoeing. Topics covered will include snow safety, proper equipment, and trip planning logistics. Upon your return, you’ll be qualified to rent or borrow snowshoes, snow clothing layers, and winter boots from all three of our gear libraries.
Please check with your school administrator or nonprofit director to determine if your school or organization meet at least one of the criteria.
